Many handymen will tell you: installing ogees is a real challenge because of the combined angles. For the installation to be a success, you need to use precise angles when cutting the ogees. The corners are where the major difficulties rest. That is why it is important to master the cut of four types of corners: interior and exterior, left and right. The explanations that follow will allow you to see more clearly on this matter. The demonstration was done with an electric combined mitre saw (bevels both to the right and the left). The type of ogee we used was 45°/45° and we have made cuts for right angle (90°) corners.
During a renovation, products should be chosen depending on criteria related to the environment and health. To better guide you and help you make the right choices, we offer you a list of products displaying the Eco Attitude symbol.
