1. Texture is an important element in interior design in addition to color and prints. A lack of texture diversity results in bland, poorly styled spaces.

2. Textures are soft on the eye and recall another sense: touch. Therefore, floors as well as furnishings, fabrics and accessories are elevated by inviting touch

3. Texture diversity is a smart idea, particularly in minimalist or monochromatic rooms.

4. Flooring and walls are ideal backdrops that won’t overwhelm the decor by adding texture. Think hardwood floors but also concrete, tiling, stone, panneling, and bricks.
