Frequently asked questions
What can I do with the Colour Selector?
The Colour Selector tool allows you to view all the available colours from the Sico and Splendi ranges. Choose a colour from the various shades and apply it to your selected decor to find inspiration. Then simply order it online for pick up in-store, or note the colour you want and order it by phone.
Do I need to have the colour code to place an order?
No, not at all. The different colour shades are all available in the tool. Simply select your preferred shade.
I don’t know much about paint. Do you have information on the different paint finishes so I can be sure to choose the right one?
Yes. If you click on the “?” icon for a product, you can find more information about the finishes and products available.
What paint brands can I purchase online?
All Sico and Splendi brands are available. Simply select from the options available when picking your shade in the Colour Selector.
What sizes of paint cans can I purchase?
Sizes may vary depending on the type of paint you need for your project. Our standard sizes are 946 mL, 3.78 L and 18.9 L.
What if I don’t like the final colour? Can I exchange it or get a refund?
Paint sales are final. Please make sure that you have the right colour before placing your order. A palette featuring the most popular and trendy colours is available to help you make your choice. Please note that the actual colour of the paint may differ slightly from what you see on your computer, cell phone or tablet screen.
Can I order the paint online and pick it up at any BMR store?
This option is not available in all BMR network stores. However, we are working to roll out this option throughout the BMR and La Shop BMR dealer network.
How can I see if my store offers this option?
In the store locator page, look for the following icon next to the name of your favourite store. If an icon is there, it means that your store offers this service.
What can I do if the option to order online and pickup in store is not available in my area?
You can call your BMR dealer and give them the code for the paint you wish to have prepared. During the pandemic, the vast majority of dealers are offering paint orders by phone.
How long do I have to wait before picking up my paint order?
Please wait until you receive an email confirmation that your order is ready for pickup. Orders are typically prepared within 4 hours. However, this may vary during peak periods.
Where do I go to pick up my online paint order?
During the pandemic, your store may ask you to phone them when you arrive for pickup. They will be able to take your order directly to your car. At other times, go to the online order pickup counter inside the store.
Can I order paint online for home delivery?
Online paint orders using the Colour Selector are available for in-store pickup only.
Colours may appear differently depending on your screen. The colour displayed on your screen may not accurately represent the actual colour of the paint. No exchanges or refunds. BMR is not responsible for the final result. Online orders of Sico paint are available at participating stores only. Please note that the Colour Selector is currently only available for the Sico brand.
